Why did AAHOA choose to partner with BNG?

AAHOA has done a thorough vetting of software companies, OTAs and consultants to ensure that the partnership would be in the best interest of the membership.  Bookit N Go has been created from the beginning with hotel owners in mind and backed by the AAHOA members.  We areable to execute on the needs and wants of the members.

What does the BNG and AAHOA partnership mean to me?

This partnership aims to reduce commissions for all OTAs. By combining technology with industry influence, we intend to highlight the high commissions and low customer service standards that currently exist in the industry.

What is AAHOA doing to assist in the rollout?

AAHOA is working closely with Bookit N Go to help educate the membership, prioritize the PMS connections, and market the platform.

What is the risk of opting into the BNG booking engine?

Joining the Bookit N Go platform carries no risk, only benefits. You will only pay a 10% commission when a reservation is made for your property, with no additional fees or subscriptions. Moreover, there are no long-term contracts involved.

Why is BNG doing this with AAHOA?

Bookit N Go was founded in response to AAHOA members’ requests for assistance in navigating the OTA landscape and developing an alternative. This longstanding connection to AAHOA and its members drives our passion for helping them leverage technology to increase revenue and reduce expenses.

How do I set up my property?

Initially, your property should already connected via GDS. As we implement direct connectivity to your PMS, our team will notify you of the transition. You’ll receive details on managing rates and other aspects directly through your PMS. If not already done, sign up your properties here.

How do I sign up multiple properties?

You can sign up each property individually through this link. Alternatively, submit an Excel list of your properties along with relevant information and your AAHOA member ID to aahoa@bookitngo.com for processing.

My property name is incorrect. How do I fix that?

Ensure your property name is updated accurately in your PMS and any channel managers used. Our platform reflects data directly from your PMS or Channel Manager, thus we don’t control how your property name appears.

Why does my property already show up on your site?

We’re integrated with major Global Distribution Services (GDS), allowing us to access nearly 2 million properties worldwide. Even if you’re not directly connected to the GDS, we can aggregate inventory from numerous distribution services and list your property.

Why does BNG need to know my AAHOA ID and my property names?

Currently our platform has 1.2M properties worldwide and many of these are AAHOA members’ properties.  However, there is no way to know to tag them correctly.  Once we are able to correctly tag the AAHOA properties we are able to market them specifically to our users.  We will ensure that we are marketing them to our users on a priority.

Why is Bookit N Go doing this with AAHOA?

Why does Bookit N Go need to know my PMS?

Bookit N Go is working with AAHOA to prioritize the direct connection to PMS.  In order to control commission, BNG will need to connect directly with your property.  There are thousands of PMS companies in the US and we need to prioritize development and cost.

Bookings and Commissions

How will I see bookings coming in from Bookit N Go?

If connected via GDS, bookings may appear from various providers. Once directly connected to your PMS, bookings will originate from Bookit N Go.

What are your commissions?

Bookit N Go maintains a 10% commission for all AAHOA members. Additional charges from GDS or other vendors may apply based on connectivity method. However, our aim is to establish direct PMS connections to eliminate intermediary costs.

How do I receive payouts?

Payments will continue as usual if connected through GDS. Upon direct PMS connectivity, payouts will be facilitated via bank transfer or virtual card.

When will you connect to my PMS?

Presently connected to ASI, we aim to establish direct connections with additional PMSs to serve most member properties directly. Upon signing up, you’ll receive notifications regarding direct connectivity readiness for your PMS. 

We are working directly with AAHOA and the membership to collect the PMS data and prioritize which PMS will be connected next.  There are hundreds of thousands of PMS companies in the US and even more worldwide.  Each direct connection requires development work, cost and prioritization with the PMS company.

What does direct connection mean?

Direct connect is when the OTA is connected directly into the PMS.  This integration involves the development of code which enables real time inventory and pricing as well as instant reservation processing.  The OTA can control the information exchanged as well as the commission charged to the hotel.
